1969 Corvette Big Block Conv- Built 454ci - Tremec 5-Spd - 2 Tops - Sidepipes!!

Here is a beautiful Big Block 1969 Corvette Roadster in excellent condition inside and out. Finished in red with a black interior, it's the perfect color combo for a Stingray Corvette. Powered by a fully built aluminum head 454ci engine backed by a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, it is an absolute blast to drive. It features an L-88 hood, both a hardtop and soft top, factory side pipes, leather seats, and the list goes on. This is a fine example of an early C3 Corvette Stingray that is becoming increasingly hard to find.

We recently acquired this beauty from the estate of the car's long-term owner and caretaker. This was his baby, and he never intended to sell it. He was a well-known racer in the Midwest, so this car is mechanically dialed in with a fully built engine that sounds great and is very powerful. The car has an older restoration but still shows wonderfully. We believe this has always been a big block car from new as it features a 5600 rpm redline tachometer, which was only available on a 390hp or 400hp 427ci car from the factory.

After acquiring the car, we had it checked over, and it really didn't need anything. This is truly a turn-key car that is ready to go. It was very nicely restored and is perfect for cruising. The entire underside was recently dry ice blasted and fully detailed. The paint and body are excellent, with a beautiful interior. Don't miss out on this car, as it will not last long.

Current Condition:

The car has a very nice restoration that shows wonderfully, though we don't know exactly when it was completed. We believe it has always been a super nice car its entire life. It has a beautiful paint finish in its original color of Monza Red, with a few very minor touch-ups here and there—you have to really look to notice them. The body is in excellent condition and has not been hit. The chrome is like new. All the glass is in very nice condition. The leather interior was completely redone and shows beautifully, with the dash and door panels appearing to be nice originals. The '82 Collector Edition wheels look really cool and unique on the car.

Under the hood, everything is very nicely detailed and clean. Mechanically, the car is in overall amazing condition and needs nothing. It has a fully built 454ci engine with aluminum heads that was rebuilt and tuned by the previous owner, who was a racer. Everything was done right. The transmission was updated to a Tremec 5-speed. The entire underside was recently dry ice blasted and fully detailed, revealing a completely rust-free frame. The car runs and drives awesome—it's very fast and a blast to drive. Everything appears to work in the car as it should. The wipers need a little attention, as the vacuum door opens, but the wipers won't engage, which I'm sure is an easy fix. The hardtop is in excellent condition but is missing one inner panel. The soft top is like new and fits like a drum. This is a perfect fun cruiser that you can drive, enjoy, and have fun with right now!
